Adjusted 30-Item Test Blueprint
Executive Summary
This 30-item blueprint assesses Grade 6 Ratios & Proportional Relationships (6.RP.A) across seven sub-standards. Items span DOK levels 1–4 (6 DOK-1, 12 DOK-2, 6 DOK-3, 6 DOK-4) and cover ratio concept and language, unit rate, equivalent ratio tables and plotting, unit rate problems (pricing and speed), percent problems, and unit conversion via ratio reasoning. Claim distribution targets approximately 57% Claim 1 (Concepts & Procedures), 16% Claim 3 (Communicating Reasoning), and 27% Claims 2 & 4 (Problem Solving and Modeling). All five Learnosity item types are represented across the set.
Standards & Cognitive Rigor Summary
| Standard | Description | Items | DOK Levels |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6.RP.A.1 | Understand the concept of a ratio and use ratio language to describe a ratio relationship between two quantities. | 4 | DOK 1, DOK 2 |
| 6.RP.A.2 | Understand the concept of a unit rate a/b associated with a ratio a:b with b ≠ 0, and use rate language in the context of a ratio relationship. | 4 | DOK 1, DOK 2, DOK 4 |
| 6.RP.A.3 | Use ratio and rate reasoning to solve real-world and mathematical problems by reasoning about equivalent ratios and rates. | 3 | DOK 2, DOK 3, DOK 4 |
| 6.RP.A.3.a | Make tables of equivalent ratios relating quantities with whole-number measurements, find missing values in the tables, and plot the pairs of values on the coordinate plane. | 5 | DOK 1, DOK 2, DOK 3, DOK 4 |
| 6.RP.A.3.b | Solve unit rate problems including those involving unit pricing and constant speed. | 5 | DOK 1, DOK 2, DOK 3, DOK 4 |
| 6.RP.A.3.c | Find a percent of a quantity as a rate per 100; solve problems involving finding the whole, given a part and the percent. | 5 | DOK 2, DOK 3, DOK 4 |
| 6.RP.A.3.d | Use ratio reasoning to convert measurement units; manipulate and transform units appropriately when multiplying or dividing quantities. | 4 | DOK 1, DOK 2, DOK 4 |
